On a Dime Cooking 10/28/15

Our project has kind of been kind of slow but we have finally stepped up on something. Erica, Jessica, and I have made one thing and it was a peach pie
I wasn't sure how well it would turn out but it turned out very well. It was quite simple to make....
Ingredients:
-You will need a box pie crust(we used Betty Crocker regular pie crust)
-A can of peaches(any brand would work)
-cinnamon
-white sugar

Directions
-Add water to the crust, let it rise and spread half of the dough on bottom of a pie pan
- Add all of the can of peaches
-Sprinkle some sugar and cinnamon inside and combine
-Take the rest of the pie crust and add a top to the pie and fold edges together with your hands
-Sprinkle more cinnamon and sugar on top of the pie crust
-Bake the pie at 350 degrees for 20-30 minutes or until golden.

On a Dime Cooking

For our project Erica, Jessica, and I will be finding recipes and cooking them every week until May. Then we will record what the food tastes like and how easy or hard it was to cook. For the rest of the year, 20% of your time in Seabs' class will be spent working on something that we want to work on. We have to learn in it someway or some how and then we have to document it every week. Our goals are to learn different styles of cooking and different techniques on how to cook certain foods. The way that we will measure our progress is to take pictures and videos and also we will blog about it every week. We will be using the book Delicious on a Dime Cookbook and also the website Pinterest. Our mentor will be Kristie LaRue because she is the cook teacher and we thought that if we did need help she would be the best person to ask.

You're not special

I think I would have to agree with the guy
He made a lot of valid points. Nobody is special really. When you give someone a participation trophy then you're telling them they will receive something by doing nothing... It makes sense. Nobody is special so why say we are.

We usually just go by what other people are saying about it online or on TV. But most people just vote on what the issues are in our society.

How do our hearts and minds influence our actions? (Step One)

How do our hearts and minds influence our actions?
Our hearts and mind influence our actions because we have our thoughts and then we have our actions. When people do things intentionally they usually follow their hearts instead of the habitat around them. But sometimes our hearts tell us one thing and our minds tell us another too. So, how do you pick which one to follow? That's up to you.
